Just returned from Dubai - Photographed a wedding at the Dubai Polo Ranch. It is nice to be back in Paris as it seems that finally Spring is here! I will post a slideshow later on during the week.
For now, I am just going to relax and catch up with family, may be even linger out on a terrace with friends later on.
Meanwhile a comment on photography and Style. The style of a photo is the photographer- the photographer's instinct. I see myself in every shot I have ever taken. It is my own personal world. Feel blessed, I love what I do !

Just a few images taken with my Rolleiflex, the old fashion way ! I had to wait a week to get the film back and scanned but it is hard to do without it! Irvin Penn used it for many years as well as Avadon, Diane Arbus, Cecil Beaton, David Bailey, Bruce Weber
and many other great photographers whose work I love so much!
Easter week end, some sun in Antibes: father and son Pierre. Rare at the times where i have a photo taken with my son actually. It just so happen that I am usually the one behind the camera snapping away, photographing Pierre and his Mum. So for once, here is a family picture rather, taken at the entrance of the new Picasso museum in Antibes!

I just wanted to make sure to post the slideshow of the portrait session of Cynthia and Rachel before I leave for a week on my little trip to Dubai ! DVD has been sent this morning. Turning the page on another beautiful little photographic moment that i have spent with Cynthia and Rachel a few days back. May be we can do it again next year when you guys come back ! I really enjoyed meeting you both.

I have just spent yesterday with Carina and Sherman taking some pre-wedding portraits around Paris. I had a great time and I think all three of us did !. It was just a lot of fun going around the city taking photos of such a wonderful couple. Now off to Normandie on a family easter weekend and next week i am on the plane to Dubai!

I have just read a funny article on the booming wedding industry in China. In the photo, Veteran wedding host Wang Zanghong promotes his traditional Chinese-style wedding service at the Beijing Wedding Expo last week. I would LOVE to work with Mr Wang. Red is my favorite color ! And he seems like a lot of fun. Meanwhile, more than 10 million Chinese couples marry annually, spending hundreds of billions of dollars in the process. There has been so many photos taken Place de la Concorde by Tourist and many
professional photographers. I myself have a tendency to propose to my brides or Clients that wish to have some portraits taken in the streets of Paris to make Place de la Concorde one of the shooting location. It is just a great spot, make sure you get there an hour before sun set, you will then get the most beautiful light. The alternative would be to head down to the square early morning before the Parisians wake up and traffic begins. Then you might have to struggle with a few vespas, bikes and diverse mean of transportation on 4 wheels.

I spent a couple of hours in the Tuilerie garden with Cynthia and sweet little Rachel who was so adorable. Both had their birthday on the third of April and that was a call for celebration and a lot of really cool images.
