Chapelle de la Garoupe Antibes

We just returned from the beautiful south of France although the weather wasn't the best!
Still, we stayed in Antibes, few steps away from "la Chapelle de la Garoupe" , one of my favorite place on earth. Just South of Antibes is the Cap d’Antibes - the rocky, wooded peninsula stretching into the Mediterranean sea. La Garoupe is the highest point of the peninsula. A trip to the Chapelle de la Garoupe is an unforgettable experience. On the top of the hill you will find la Garoupe's holy place with its chapel and monastery. This place has been a spiritual site since the 5th century, when the Sainte-Hélène worship started.
This small Chapelle was built in the 16th century. It is also called "Nôtre Dame des Amoureux", so appropriate for wedding celebrations on the French riviera.
Breathtaking .... So enjoy the video.
And by the way, a few steps down the hill, you will find the
Grand Hotel Cap Ferrat
, beautiful wedding destination and a cosy hang out for celebrities during the Cannes film festival.
