Luxury Boats for intimate Wedding on the Seine

Enjoy a reception-cruise on
the most beautiful place in Paris; the Seine.

I am shooting a very intimate wedding in a few days on a Luxury Boat named "the Cashemire". I used to shoot for boating magazines and photographed "La Nioulargue" in St Tropez a couple of years in a row.
I have a fascination for "Rivas" and Classic sail boats. So when I found out I was going to photograph a very intimate wedding on a luxury boat on the river seine, I was actually quite exited!

Yachts de Paris has plenty of information for the yacht-loving couples:

A Conscious Wedding is a Meaningful, Creative, and Loving Event

I was pointed to a very interesting wedding website for a change! The website is named conscious weddings.
Here are a few words which sum up the driving theme behind such a meaningful title.
A Conscious Bride is a Calm, Joyful, and Present Bride.
A Conscious Wedding is a Meaningful, Creative, and Loving Event.

THE website is the continuity of a book projet written by Sheryl Paul- The Book is called "The Conscious Bride"



When asked, most people will say that their wedding process included as much chaos, grief, and confusion as joy and bliss. Yet they also felt that they had to keep those emotions hidden. Because expression of the "darker" side of the wedding is not encouraged, women and their families commonly transfer the difficult emotions onto the planning of the event. It is not uncommon to emerge from the wedding bewildered by the tension and anxiety that surrounded their day.



It is time to bring the wedding's shadow into the light and help women and their families understand what is happening to them. This book and consequent website is a wonderful success in helping the couple and relatives going through a blissful wedding period ! Before, During and After ....

Chateau de Nandy

Now if I were to get married again sometimes soon - simply because my wedding is one of the most cherished memory i have -
And I often feel i should get married to my wife Yanique once a week ! This is where I might do it next time - Everything is Perfect ! The Chateau de Nandy was built in the 17th century.
It is grade 1 listed stately home situated at only 40 kms from Paris (under one hour drive). Beautiful garden and a large parkland of 97 acres surround the building.
Built in 1660 by the Marechal de Vitry, the chateau was designed for receptions and events, it does offer four big reception rooms all on the ground floor decorated with beautiful French paneling.
It would fit easily 220 people seated or 500 standing up for cocktail party.

Welcome to the kingdom of the Princes and Princesses of Condé; le Chateau des Condé . Imagine these historic walls to the south of Paris, as the setting for your Wedding Reception room: for one night, perhaps two, time stands still beneath a star-studded Renaissance sky in celebration of your marriage.
Those words are taken directly from the website- Simply because it is so French! It is a great Location for a lavish wedding " A la Francaise "though - And a beautiful little village named Vallery, only 45 mn away from Paris- I photographed a few weddings there and i DO love going back.
